upper radiator hose

Default upper radiator hose

Anyone had the problem of the upper radiator hose sucking itself flat??? It has a new one on it and it will suck it flat and heat up quick.... 1994 F-250 7.3L stock turbo

check your rad cap.

has a new one on it and i pressure checked it and the radiator.

possible it is the wrong cap? for some reason your system is holding vacuume

could the thermostat be causing it by any chance?

possibly, but doubt it. could be the bypass in the thermostat housing is blocked. if u do swap the tstat, only install a ford or IH one.

did you change thermostat when you put new hose on? and if you did possibly you put thermostat in backwards.

no didnt change tstat but i am in the process now and the bypass was blocked by the way......
