Default '93 F350 IDI- about to turbo - advice

say Mates :

new guy here to this board . am about to turbo the 7.3 idi - just refreshed heads and gaskets - New ip....gave a fresh paint job to most of the parts I removed - any advice before I put moteur back into cradle ? going with a used ATS system / full size down pipe and will look to set up gauges

just bolt it on and go. after putting the turbo on u wil want to turn the pump up about 2 flats to get full usage of the boost.

and unless the cab is off, u will need to set motor in first, then put the turbo on. it is a tight fit back there. before putting the motor in, take a BFH and beat the pinch weld on the cab over to give you more clearance.

Cheers for the reply - I anticipated this dynamo install , purchased IP for turbo idi - so should already be advanced fuel setting , no?
