Default engine wiring problems

over the weekend i was working on my truck, it was running while i tried to disconnect the fast idol solonoid when i puled on the clip for that solonoid the part where the wires go in broke off n the second it did that the truck shut off and i couldnt get it started again, i got my voltage tester and tested the conections on the injecter pump i was getting 12.5 volts to the pump with the key in the on position but i was getting voltage with one lead of the tester on the positive terminal of the battery and the other lead on the conection points on the injector pump, when i tried cheacking voltage by putting one lead on the negative terminal and the other lead on the conection point on the pump i got nothing. so i took a hot wire from the battry and and tochtd the solonoid on the pump and was able to get the truck started. but now the glow plugs dont work the wait to start light dosnt come on and now my tranny wont shift out of first gear. how do i fix this

thats what i thought but i cheacked continuity through every fuse in the truck. which fuse is it. but what would cause the tranny not to shift out of first all of a sudden?

i figured it out apparently my continuity tester isnt very good because it red continuity through a fues that was blown, i changed the fuse and every thing works fine, as for the tranny it is getting rebuilt right now, (apparently trannys dont last long when they are ran low on fluid )
