if it was the oil cooler, no. no aftermarket ones available. can still get them new since they are used on the 7.3 powerstroke. same cooler. but it isnt to bad to rebuild them. just 4 orings and 2 gaskets.

I had the same problem. Only it started after I rebuilt the oil cooler. Started with oil in water, then after rebuilding the oil cooler the damn thing started overflowing the radiator into the overflow and when that was full, all over the engine compartment. I was pissed to say the least. I filled up cooling system again and this time the pressure was so much it blew the damn radiator cap off and shot F#$K&%G water everywhere. Did a compression test and had a low cylinder. Tore the motor apart and a blown headgasket and the heads were cracked between every valve. So oilcooler may not be only problem.
