you dont need to cover your stack.i hav dual 5inch stacks.the soot sucks the water up.and plus the water will hav to travel up alot of exhaust tubing to do anything.but if your still gona freak just drill a hole and weld a nut on above the hole and put a bolt in

matters on pipe size. my truck will get covered in soot after a rain or snow storm if i dont cover the pipe. i use a old plastic pitcher. has a handle on it. works great.

water intrusion
unless you have stacks coming out off top of you engine it would take 2 to 4 gallions off water to to get into your engine.,and if its a daily driver thats not going to happen. So if it's going to sit all summer then put the coffee can on if your driving it every day don't worry about it.

just do a single mitre and use a coffe can thats what i use to do when i cared but now i dont and i blow soot all over the place everytime i fire my truck up after it rains and the rain still gets into the turnouts just usually not as bad as a mitre plus ur beds guna turn black and anyone to sit on your talegate or in your bed will end up with a black A$$ which i find funny
