I got a turbo off a 94 and put it on my 89 7.3 idi i have ran it awhile and found out its shot the only thing i need to fix it for now is bearings and a new compression wheel i think. Im hoping thats it so i can get my truck back on road i plan on getting a new turbo but i need my truck now. so i wanna know if anyone knows what turbo they put on them trucks i know its a garrett but what model and i need to know what size is the compression wheel? and is that all i need to fix it is bearings and a new wheel since old one is chewed up?

 

i was looking to buy a turbo for these trucks with the same problem and it was gona cost me 400 to rebuild it (bearings and compresser wheel) needless to say i didnt buy it

 

i found turbos on ebay pretty good deal. i ordered one they 24 i should get it this week sometime
