What's it take to replace a front main seal and tie rods on a 94 F-350 7.3 Turbo IDI? A buddy of mine wants to buy my truck and I found this one for $1000. Its a 94 F-350 factory turbo IDI 5 speed. I forgot to ask and it didn't say in the ad, but I'm assuming its a 4x4. I'll have pics of the truck sometime Saturday.

 

tie rods are easy, around 400 for everything from pitman arm to wheels in good parts.


front main is a little of a fight. remove crank pulley and ballancer, get seal out without marring the front cover, tap new seal in and reinstall ballancer/ pulley
