2wd Lift Kit

2wd Lift Kit
i am interested in a 80 something's 2wd dually, problem is that i want to lift it and the only lifts are for 2wd are for 1/2 tons, i thought about buying a 6 inch superrunner 1/2 ton kit (its only 400 more than the regular kit) and with the weight of the diesel it would probably sag to 4 inches, i really aint too crazy about the idea but it would "work" unless something that i dont know about is different. if i cant do that ill just put a 3 inch body lift on it, i am painting it all black and using new GMC badges to put 350 HD on the side and the newer powerstroke badges that have the "billet" look to them, from 2003 or something like that. the wheels i want are the KMC rockstars in 16 inches, if i could afford bigger i would go 17 but tire choices are limited in "dually" sizes, if i stay with 16's im using 255/85/16 tires (which measure over 33 inches tall) either BFG mud terrains or super swamper truxus mud terrains.

tires: bfg's: http://www.4wheelparts.com/PDT63296.aspx
swamper's: http://www.4wheelparts.com/PDT65035.aspx
lift: the lift kit is $1300.00 after removing the rear block kit, it wont work with 3 inch springs, and shock boots. (got a huge box of yellow shock boots from when i was a dealer)
i asked this over on oilburners.net also but im looking for varying opinions.
