does anyone have any opinions on duramaxs? that was something i planned on asking about to but forgot haha

 

The duramax is a very good engine. The only problem I have with them and what keeps me from owning one is they seam to be pricey when something does break. It's probably not any more than any other new diesel but thats why I drive old wore out junk.

 

No manual transmission available behind them. No solid front axle. I guess if your girl likes to drive your truck then those are good things.

 

manual is not avalible anymore. there were some out there in previous years. it is the same 6 speed that ford used. i love my dmax. got it cheap(12000) with only 130000 on it. runs great, tows my 6.9 everywhere i want unless dad wants to go. then we hook the trailer to his f450.
