Is there a higher flow injector than the bb that is fairly cheap? Or is bb the about all you will get? Also would I need to upgrade injector pumps tp run the bb or maybe one step up from the bb? Thanks for all your help this site is great!!!

If the screw is maxed out, the pump may be getting weak. Don't crank on it too hard as it could damage internal parts.

So heres the deal my dad bought the truck new and the fuel screw has never been messed with. He sold it to me and a couple years ago and now I wanna hop it up some. Keep in mind the pump has never been touched other than advancing it slightly and that was recently. The truck has 222xxx and still runs great doesnt cough on cold start or seem to loose its prime. Some say these ip's are only good for about 100,000 thats far from true. So since the fuel screw has never been touch until a couple days ago would anybody have any idea why it wont turn more than 1/2 of a turn? thanks in advance

Default New IDI Ranch Truck Car wash = catastrophic failure

So My dad and I just bought a 7.3idi NA '92 4x4 auto for the ranch. It's 100% stock. I took it through a auto car wash and a few miles down the road:

1. Radio stops working. Lights on, no signal no numbers on the screen, nothing else
2. Dome light stops working
3. Speedometer stops working
4. Truck has NO power off the line, it bucks BAD when cruising randomly down shifting and unlocking the TC completely, truck will rev in gear nothing, buck buck, contenue.

WHAT THE LIVING F@#K HAPPENED? ALL I DID WAS WASH THE DARN THING, WEVE HAD IT FOR A DAY!

Sounds like you got some water in a very bad place, have you popped the hood and checked the electrical connections?

It was just a fuse. Fixed it. One more question that might have been covered already. Would a 3" non mandril bend single exhaust be a good replacement for the stock one, or should I do 2.5 duals? I have a 4" see through muffler I can y into and out. I was thinking 2.5 dual y'd onto the muffler or 3" single?

Personally I would do 3" duals, and when I can find a good shop I'm going to have them remove the factory y-pipe and have them build it

I got mine done before I saw the response. Had a shop cut before the y and do 2.5" duals with an H-pipe back to dual 30" 3" glasspacks and out the back on both sides. Sounds like a cousin F%#king POS but we were looking for functionality and I can definitely tell a difference. These trucks seem like they can barley get out of their own way, but its the ranches truck and if I turn it up and screw something up someone will shoot me. Also do any of yall's blow a little whitish smoke with you revv 'em in neutral (it could be blueish too, not sure) , I'm thinking the old girl might burn a little oil, but there is 0 pressure coming out of the oil fill cap and no blow by.

If I rev in neutral I do smoke a little, but I changed the timing on my pump by a hair and it went away, how much did it cost for the new exhaust?
