Thanks; this is even better than the manual from Banks engineering; it was just black type on white paper. No illustrations.

The pictures do come in handy, I used the other sticky but it would have gone quicker had there been pics.

just fyi that is a dumb was to check the timing. when i turn mine up i will take better detailed pics and post em up .
plus he is working on a turboed motor, the pics cant get good angles due to air box. i will get better ones

By all means, please DO show us a better way; doing things the wrong way 47 times is not as fun!

ok guys, here is the updated pics.

first remove the oil fill or gear cover from this location.

bring the stud around till it is at the 12 oclock postition like this

find the little triangle cover on the pass side of the pump and remove. dont damage the gasket. a pint or so of fuel will come out. place a rag or 2 under the pump to catch it all. will look like this

inside that hole is the adjusting screw. if the pin on the front of the engine is at 12 oclock, the screw will be visible with a mirror. will look like this.

turn that screw clockwise to increase fuel. counterclock wise to decrease fuel. screw is a 5/32 allen.

I have a 7.3L idi....N/A.... i have a 6" k&n filter on 14" with a 4" riser and 4" dynomax muffler..... wish there was more ways to make power with these bad *** sounding engines....... i run 2 cycle oil and atf in the tanks ..... makes a big diff.... bout a quart of atf and a half a quat=rt of the 2 cycle and she runs awesome ..... 190 hp and 385 lb/ft.... guess thats pretty good for a N/A 7.3L... what do ya'll think ?
