I just had a new Injector Pump put in it two months ago and it was running fine.
with 262,000 could it be the glow plugs or injectors themselves?
It doesnt smoke at all !
I really dig this truck but it is eating away at my finances steadily and wife is getting Pi^%#@!* D off. are there booster pumps in the 94 IDI stock tanks I did not check to see if it would run on the other tank and the batteries died after only about 6 0r 8 crankovers,
Really, once you've put this many miles, you're gonna have to accept that they're gonna cost you money if you keep them around. As they get older, they just seem to decide out of the blue that there are some things they just aren't gonna do, and they change with no warning.
The best thing you can do, IMHO, is trade it off, and lease a newer model. You're gonna lose money getting rid of it, but divorces are like that. Once you get rid of her, you can do whatever you want for the truck!

when u trun up to injecton pump u add more pressure to each injector on each revelution of the pump.. meaning more power..... if ya turn it up too far you will just end up with a big smoke show though..... if Naturally asperated, about 1 to 1 1/2 flats is about all you can manage before it becomes a smoke show and fuel economy losses will be dramatic as well......only turn the pump up 1 flat ( on an allen wrench 5/32,there r 6 flat sides on each allen wrench), but 1 flat was a good power jump for my truck, wich is n/a.... 11/2 was a bit smokey, but fun to mess with ricers

I had a recent issue.... my truck seemed to run out of fuel.... damn tanks should have had at least 6 to 8 gallons by the math....... damn fuel line was cracked... so I replaced the fuel lines with gates bio-fuel line...... my truck has never ran this good..... i have 3.55's and 35" tires with a 4 spd t-19 close ratio..... got into a lil race with a 7.3 powerstroke truck .... off the line he was mine.... round the corner i owned him outright.... then it was on like a straight drag to I-5..... after merging he finally blew past me .... around 90 or so .....I just laughed my *** off.... blew his doors down..LOL ...................

a good exhaust system will do wonders for any motor not just a diesel. a free flowing intake system will make it breath much better and more power and mpg's.

I've read about the turbo delete to get more smoke, factory did that for me, but it still don't smoke enough. How far should I turn in the screw to get the proper black out effect?

---AutoMerged DoublePost---

Never mind, I see it... about 2 turns, right?or is it flats?
