Default Run your IDI outta fuel and it won't start?

I finally figured out how to "prime" my fuel system when I've run my truck outta fuel; just open up the valve on the bottom of the fuel/water separator a little bit, then crank it up! you might have to crank a few seconds, but it'll go pretty quickly. If you open it all the way, it'll DUMP fuel. Once you're running, jump out and close that valve real quick, or your truck will act like it's starved for fuel. Keep rags handy, as you WILL get your arm covered in fuel.

Can we "Sticky" this? I wish to hell I'd have had this info available to me when I figured it out!

there should be a schader valve at the top of your fuel filter housing. if u press that in while cranking it will bleed air out and not spray everyhere.
