Default Need Some Advice on my 94 Ford 7.3 IDI Turbo

I have a 7.3 IDI turbo. It has a little knock at high speed. I had to replace injector pump, lift pump, and injectors. This has helped with the knock but it hasn't stopped it. It is not smoking at high RPM anymore but at an idle it still does. Is there any suggestions on what I should try next?

The sound is not all the time. It is on the left side down low.

We are not for sure as we have not checked that. How would I check that? But that wouldn't cause it to smoke would it?

ok cummins boy, back to your side...

these engines do not have valve adjustments. hydro lifters.

i hate to say it but could be a wrist pin. i just seen one come threw a buddys shop that had a knock on right bank, ended up being wrist pin on num 7 cyl.

Will that cause it to smoke? I have another question if the fuel injector pump is turned up too high will it cause the knock at high accelaration and smoke at an idle because of over fueling?

No it was not timed. But we have advanced and back it back off and it does change the way the knock and smoke is.
