Hypermax sells a turbo kit for $1800. Read the post at the very top of the page titled "Turning up a 6.9 or 7.3" it will tell you how to adjust the IP. I have been told that 1250* is the max temp you want to see from an IDI. I have heard the cummins can take closer to 1400*.

Turn it up 1/6 of a flat. Smokes perfectly! That's what I did. Get more power going uphill!https://www.dieselbombers.com/images...locomotive.gif

with a aftermarket turbo on a orginally designed N/A motor injectors wouldn't be needed till you get about 14 plus psi, but then again head studs thicker gaskets will be needed and etc. But its always good to get bigger injectors if you plan on making more power in the future.
