Hi my name is randy and I have a 93 f250 turbo diesel and I got a massive prob and a few questions. 1st of all I can put a new air clean in and it leaks 2 gallons of oil in a matter of 30 minutes old air cleaner hardley a drop but recently I stopped at a red light and I see oil smoke from under the hood so I pull over and look got smoke coming the front of the intake and the rear don't see no oil but see smoke some visible oil in the valley on the front and some on the rear of the intake also when I jump bon the gas blue smoke comes out need some help any and all is appreciated email at joyej99@yahoo.com. or reply on here ty

 

Wait you have no leaking oil just smoke....but leak 2 gallons in 30 mins?

 

I think it's fuel thats causing your smoke, not oil. Leaky return lines/o-rings from when you changed the air filter, or a cracked hard line.

 

were gonna need pics of some items to understand whats going on:

first all those places where the smoke was coming from
then the turbo with out the intake on.
then a pic or video of the amount of blowby(engine running with oil cap off or the cdr tube unhooked from air intake)

if i had a guess it would have something to do with crankcase pressures and the cdr. or the engien is worn out.
