the only issue with prochargers are since they are belt driven, they use up power to turn them. for a little bit of boost they can put out, i dont think it would help much. probly would equal out.

there was a guy that made custom intake and mounted a 871 blower on his 6.9. didnt have much more power cause the blower used so much to power it.

hell, a 1471 blower on top fuelers use so much power that a stock chrysler hemi will stall trying to spin it.

true, but you can get more air from a charger just by changing a pulley with no increase of drive pressure or egt's. and they can be matched to the engine to max out when the engine hits its rpm limiter.

the only thing about that is i thought diesels were known for there power which why wouldnt there be enough excess on a diesel to spin a super charger with no problem

deff thinkin bout tryin it i mean i wanna try to make this idi eat powerstrokes which i know takes nothin but money but i'm just thinkin it would prolly be cheaper and easier than a turbo besides i have a nice open spot where the a/c pump used to be. (I only took the a/c off cuz it locked up)
