Whats up guys...i recently aquired my first diesel (like, yesterday HAH!) a 92 F-250 Non Turbo 7.3. Real clean EX-Work truck I want the same thing every one else wants. A nice sound and black smoke. I have a general idea on what to do but not how to do it. Like turning the pump up. Where do i even begin to figure out how to do that? Hah im sorry guys but im a REAL noobie! I can build a Fox Chassis Mustang up like its noones business but this is my first endevor into Diesel and im really excited about it...but i really need some direction ya know. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks guys!

Get a pyrometer before you go turning up the pump, it wont take much to melt your motor.
