how hard is it to install a turbo on a old 7.3l idio?

 

It shouldn't be to hard if you have the ATS, Hypermax, or banks kit for the truck, but if your trying to adapt a DT466 turbo or a PSD turbo to it it will require some fab. It's hard but not impossible

 

when you buy the kits that comes with everthing that you would need

 

Shouldn't take to long then probably a weekend job, to be honest I have never installed a turbo on a truck so I am just speculating a weekend if you buy the kit, hopefully some who has done it before will chime in

 

i also want to put dual 5" stacks but i dont know how hard thats going to be
to put on

 

I'm actually in the same boat right now, my gf bought me some 4' tall 5" miter cuts off an old Pete and I haven't quite decided how I'm going to be mounting them, I'm like to fab an adapter at the manifolds to go fromthe 2.25" to the 4" or 5" pipe to the stacks...
