Just bought a 94 turbo idi 250k miles very good condition, runs a little rough when you first start it but smooths out sometimes it has a bump to it idiling but for the most part runs smooth I suspect a sticking or bad injector causing that , It will also cut off when you get around a 1/4 of a tank , I pumped it out got pretty much all the fuel out , treated with diesel Kleen and it runs longer before it cuts off I’m thinking maybe trash in the tank still , replaced the fuel filter it wasn’t that dirty few pieces of trash any feedback would be awesome thanks

 

Ya might wanna drop the tank and inspect the inside components. While youre at it, inspect or replace all hoses from tank to engine, to start with. Process of elimination is a pain but necessary when chasing gremlins.

 

Yea I dropped the midship tank it’s all ate up with rust and pickup was broke , I’m gonna drop the rear but contemplating wether I should drop it or take bed off
