My truck always runs better after a quart of ATF in the filter. It really woke up my 86 after it had been sitting for 10 years. Every time I change the fuel filter I fill it with a quart of DEX/MERC. The stuff you really don't want to use is Type F, though you don't see it very often any more.

 

Try 2 stroke oil cut with diesel fuel next time..

 

are you saying mix the oil and diesel? like a 50/50 mix orrrrr???

 

I am saying one ounce of 2 stroke oil to one gallon of diesel fuel
