Yeah .. it can melt the pre-chambers .. and they can get loose and bounce around and beat the junk out of the heads, pistons, etc ..

Its just flat out not safe ....

i was thinking around 25 - 30 psi i know this will kill the life of the motor but if i get 3 years out of it im happy also what kind of power are you guys pulling out of these motors ideally would like 350 hp and 800 ft pounds rear wheel "ideally"

also for some really good tech info on the IDI, you may want to check out oilburners.net .... they got some old school IDI fans that really know the limitations of these motors..

You can .. BUT ... You will need to filter it first for metallic matter, then 10, 5, 2 micron hot ( 150*) , then you can blend it into fuel ..

If you dont do all that .. you will junk you IP and Injectors with metal and Minerals found in motor oil ..

You need something to thin it out .. unless you wwould like to run a pusher pump ..

BUT ... When it gets cold .. It will be a royal PITA to start .. once warm it will be ok .. I was running 5 gallons to 20 gallons Diesel .. ran great !!!

Summer I was running 50% ... but it was much warmer of course !!
