Sounds like there is an interuption of power to the ip shut off valve. Run a wire direct to the shut off valve and then start it. Drive it around and see if it still dies. You would need to disconnect the factory wire first. Make sure it is out of the way and taped off so as no to short on anything. You will also have to manually unhook the wire that you run to shut the truck down. If it runs fine this way then you would have a short or break in the factory wire somewhere.

But seems to me like it's a heat soaked injector pump as well

I agree .. either a short or a faulty solenoid ... either way it shouldnt be too bad to fix ...

alright thanks boy right ow im more worried about my brake line that blew on me yesterday no brakes at all thank god for 4:11 gear ratio with a 5 speed man tranny or else i dont think id be here. ill keep you guys posted be sure to check back tomorrow

That's scary stuff, Ive had that happen to me in a little car on the freeway can only imagine what its like in a high speed rolling tank, glad nothing happened!

yeah .. might just go ahead and replace them all with SS lines if you can get them quick .. i have a place here locally that can make them in like 20 min .... will be doin this as well as many other bombing ideas ...

... had the same thing happen to my truck ... 4spd will put the hault quickly too ... blew out my rear right wheel cylinder ....

oh god man. still havent made much progress with the motor im debating on whether to put in a dt444 which in all reality is the same motor just more hp and torque i can get one that runs from my boss for 500 out of a parts bus so idk what im going to do yet ill keep yah posted have a good day ya'll

i have a few questions about my 92 7.3 idi how do i adjust the clutch because when i press the clutch in and try and put it in reverse the clutch is spinning and wont go into gear when running
