Just like Engine oil ... it needs to be fresh in order to attain the right protective layer and cushion against galling and such ..

So what would you do with brakes that go to the floor, but still stop, gain pressure if pumped, has a new mc, 2 new cylinders in the rear with shoes that have been bled, 2 new rotors, calipers and pads up front that have been bled

if there going to floor and they do stop ... flush system and belled it well ..

I know dortiz, I'm the same, if I leave my park brake on about1/4 the way, my brakes work awesome. Pedal travels about an inch and then I feel the rears grab.

I did that one time, forgot my brake was ALL the way down, can you say smokey? I was going down the main road, doing about 70mph. Got to the stop light and smelled like someones clutch was on fire and smoke was billowing

Last time that happened to me it was my front pads, and was angrily driving and goings 60 - 0 in about 1 sec haha not my best time, spend the next weekend getting new rotors, pads, and rebuilding one of my calipers

I had one of mine hung up for a few miles and I have the Velva touch brake pads .... carbon ceramic ... yeah .. my rotor was blue when I stopped to inspect .... wow ..
