But with the GP bypass I see you have to be careful, I guess 7.3 use 6V at the GP and when people bypass they send 12V volts and can burn them up quick.

Also people feel the need to hold the switch for 15+ seconds and melt the plugs

There's a plug on the passenger side wheel well, connects 10 wires I believe, and it also connects the glow plug wires together, but with so much voltage they glowplug wires melt where they connect in that harness, unplug it and check. I had to splice together mine and fixed a lot of problems

And does your truck starts right up when hot correct? Then I would switch your fuel filter with a one piece, just to help eliminate any air intrusions

The starter could very well be weak, if it doesn't turn over fast enough, then its like kicking the beast while it's down, it make turn over the engine which would cause you to think its still good, but very well maybe not be

brand new starter about a two months ago when it started getting cold also two new batts alternater and positive and negitive cables i have spent alot of money to try to prevent this sort of thing from happening maby i will take the starter back to the parts store and get a new one just to see but it cranks it over pretty good even in the cold i am wondering if it may be i turned the pump down instead of up ?
