Am on vacation with my 94 f350 IDI turbo. Main shaft bearing in my alternator went out, and heated up and broke my serp belt. Got the new alternator and belt on and my old girl is back up and kicking. Question is my ignition bell does not chime now in first position while warming glow plugs? Between the alt and belt going what could have affected this?

most likey you blew the fuse for the chime .. or you rlucky and blew thet damn chime ... hate mine ......
