Just paid $1000 for a 1986 F250 4sp, 4wd, 156k miles. Body and interior condition consistent with a 27 year old truck. Runs awesome and drives pretty dam well. Put a water pump in it today. My buddy's kid named it "Big Ugly". I've had a couple of 7.3 powerstrokes, and chevy 6.2s, but sure love these old IDI Fords.

 

I sold my 86 to a friend for $1000, turned 200k a few months ago and still purrs right along. He is buying an 85 F-250 supercab to swap the 86 drivetrain into though since the 86 body and chassis have seen better days. The best part is I used to own the 85 so it already has a body swap to the 93-96 style and the axles and suspension have been rebuilt.
