Ok I bought this truck 2 years ago its a 1987 f350 crew cab dually 2wd c6 trans 6.9 diesel with a garrett turboy off of a 1994 7.3 diesel and its been leaking oil thru 3 previous owners before I owned it I I thought the turbo blew through the head gasket so I did that along w 8 brand new delphi BB code fuel injectors and ARP head studs new fuel return lines and glow plugs when I started it up it started leaking on the back pass side of engine after idling 10 minutes so now that I had the engine cleaner then it was I looked back and seen the oil was actually leaking from the grommett on the turbo oil return tube to the valley pan I replaced it with doorman part number 42344 which I read about before I joined this site and it slowed the leak but its still leaking when I did the head gasket set I put a new valley pan gasket and drilled 5 or 6 1/2" holes in the bottom and it still fills up and leaks out the grommett and down the drain hole in back of the engine I even tried that right stuff gasket but the area is too small to get it down there any suggestions are appreciated I know this is where its leaking my turbo spools up good no strange noises just a nice whistle and my aftermarket oil pressure guage shows 40psi at start up and around 20psi when warm the truck has always ran great never broke down on me iv replaced a lot of parts on the engine just as prevenative maintainance oil changed every 3500 miles id like to keep the turbo on but oil costs too much I have to add a gallon every 4-6 weeks It was worse before I replaced that grommett but id like to stop it completely or else I'm just gonna pull the turbo and go back to NA and yes iv looked at just about every other thread on this topic over the past 2 years iv tried almost everything iv read its driving me crazy
