Default Oil pressure

Okay so my oil pressure on my 94 idi turbo had dropped, well the gauge at least it used to read past the r in normal but now since its been getting cold it won't go past the o. I thought it would be just cause the weather but even after I'm driving it and the oil warms up its still not moving past the o. Do these things have a bad rap for the oil pumps I have never heard anything ? But I have heard the dash cluster on these are junk. ? Any ideas?

Thanks,
Dom

Check your wire. I suddenly got weak oil pressure reading and found the connector to the sending unit was not tight.

On my '89 7.3, it's back left, top of engine, near the firewall. Single wire connected to unit (pointing up). Likely have to get on top of engine to see it.
