Default Testing help

Can anybody give me a quick rundown on how to check my glow plugs and relay? Also where is thermostat located on this 93 non turbo

You can ohm the glow plugs, of it beeps its good... I will have to think on the relay and follow the top radiator hose and it will lead to the thermostat housing, which remove the bolts and there it is...

Thanks! I guess relay us underneath the air dome hopefully its ok because the cheapest price I could find is 209$ before tax

Ohm glowplugs less than one ohm is a good plug
glowplug control unit test is using a 12 volt test light.
connect to test connection on unit (it is the the post on the relay that has a strap running down to the base of the unit) the other end of test light is of course to ground. Make sure that you can see the light from the drivers seat and turn on the ignition.
The light times depend on the temperature of the glowplug timer.
35 degrees to -20 degrees F dash light should be on 5 to 15 seconds and the test light should be on 15 to 70 seconds. The test light in the 15 to 70 seconds will have a steady on time and a flashing time. Both these happen in the 15 to 70 seconds. If you have any other questions feel free to message me on here.
