1984 F250 6.9L NEED HELP
having trouble with my glow plugs and injector pump. i put a new glow plug controller and a new relay on the truck along with new plugs and they are not heating up. i have a full 12 volts all the way around the harness but they still wont heat up. the injector pump was removed by previous owner cause he thought it went out on him because the truck was ran out of diesel. it seems to be okay but i am having trouble getting fuel through the lines. i put new injectors and return lines on and i am getting fuel to the filter bun it seems to not want to go past the filter. any help or info on what to do would be greatly appreciated i dont know a whole lot about diesel motors so any suggestions would help.

Bleeding the injector lines are really easy. Crack open the fitting from the fuel rail to the injectors one turn. Have someone sit in the driver seat and crank until fuel starts leaking at out of all the fittings with no air bubbles. Then close all the fittings. You might have air in the lines. Also I found this out the hard way yesterday that when I set the injector pump timing off by 180 degrees. The truck will not run period. Here's the link on how to set your timing. Looking at the pictures really helped.
