I have. 85 ford f-250 4 speed and the stick broke. I'm new here I need some ideas of what to do.

It broke off right at the ball. But when I towed it home yesterday I started it so I would have power steering and the transmission had a horrible rattle idk what else would've broke. But I'm thinking about just getting a new transmission
