I love my new truck, it has everything I want, save a few very fixable problems, but one mystery. I have a parasitic drain, and when driving on the highway, if I turn my left blinker on the transmission kicks down. If I am using Cruise Control it comes out of CC , this will also happen if I hit a big enough bump. The OD OFF light does not illuminate, however, so I don't think there is a cross over between the two. The engine and tranny were swapped for new ones recently. I need to drive this truck 2200 miles to VA in about 15 days. Cruise control would be a nice feature. The truck runs like a champ, cold starts are a little rough AKA: I turn the key on and wait three separate times before starting and it still takes a little cranking before she starts, but when warm she has no hesitation. The drivers door doesn't open from the inside, the rear window "bedside" rolls down, but not so much back up. There ain't nothin wrong with the radio. I am pretty sure I got a downright good deal on her. RWD with a crew cab, longbed, non-dually. I need it to haul about 7,000 lbs across country. Any help/advice would be awesome.

 

ya plug it in 2 hours before you start it, it will start immediately after it is warmed up.
