I recently got a 85 F-250 6.9, Nothing is mechanically wrong. I love the truck especially because it has 96,000 original miles on it. My question is does anyone know of some ways to squeeze some more power out of it. I am open to any ideas engine tweaks, aftermarket.

 

if you can find the turbo kit in a junkyard or online and then read the ip adjusting procedures that will help you out. somebody made injectors too. you could just search 6.9 injectors and find some options. the main thing is knowing where to set the fuel. my stock pump was set dead on for the stock engine and when you reset it thats what your looking for with more fuel to support the turbo and injectors if you decide to go that route
