Not driving yet, still need to finish exhaust, get intake boots still and get stiffer spring for the lever

Thanks, took it on freeway and could cruise up hills at 2100 rpm at 65ish at 700-750 egt with 17-20 psi just cruising

Stock, 230,000mi. It sees 20-25 pretty regularly now, holds up fine

I'm pulling my IDI apart ... will post you pictures of the head ... and it will explain its self... or go to youtube and look up

after you watch this ... u will have a better understanding of what I mean ..... the combustion chamber is in the head and not the piston so by "boosting" these engines you will be more prone to issues like the inserts coming out and or heating up and coming loose and beating up you cyl. head and the block .... not to mention the stress on the head bolts .... and no studs are not a fix... these engines are just not real boost able .... I mean they are .. just not for as long as one with out a turbo ... and the power is not there to support all the money it will cost you to do this build right....
