hello, i have a 1985 f250 xlt lariat 6.9. it was my dads work truck and has been sitting for about 8 years. i am still in high school and i want to use it for a senior project.

i got 2 new batteries for it and it turns over good. it didnt start, so we loosened the fuel line to the injector to see if it was getting fuel, it was but very small drips. then we loosened the line going into the fuel filter and it was fine, it squited out alot. im not sure what to do next, if there is something wrong with the injector pump or something else. i replaced the glow plugs too. thank you

 

You loosened the line going into the fuel filter how about the supply line to the pump did you check what you were getting out of the filter.

 

i did not try that, but i think its the injector pump, so im gonna send it out and get it redone
