i have a black wire with a pink stripe then it goes to a litle rubber block that says' fusable link 20 ga,then comes out as a blueish thicker wire with a connector on it.it is located on the psgr wheel well area close to the gp relay,does it belong on the relay?the guy that had the truck bypassed the controller and went with push button,so i'm swapping back, i got a new relay,gp's,and a controller,so i wanna make sure i do it rite.thanks for any help

 

If you will be a little more specific (year, and engine size 6.9, or 7.3 and possibly engine vin code ) I can look it up in the manual.

Ok my book is from 87 through 96 but on the 87 models the black with pink stripe goes from the glow plug controller to the wait to start light.

If this doesn't help what you may have to do is try to find someone with a truck close to your year and look on theirs and see where it is connected.

 

that sounds good to me like i said the guy before me bypassed the controller so just wanted to make sure i get it rite.thanks a lot for the info
