Default Truck started stalling. Need advice

A couple days ago my 91 7.3 started to stall out randomly every 20-30 minutes or so. Then after quite a few cranks it would fire up and run like a champ. This morning I went out and turned the key. Truck cranked.....and cranked....and cranked but refused to start. Thinking the gauge may have stopped working and it ran out of fuel, I pulled the fuel filter off but it was filled to the top with diesel. I'm new to these engines. Can anyone give me some ideas as to what I should check. Your help is greatly appreciated!

7.3 idi 1990 here and welcome friend. I can only think of 5 things, 1. fuel lines leakin air, 2. selector valve leaking where the lines hooks in, 3. dirt in your tanks, 4. bleed EVEY single line on the fuel system, 5. Fuel shut off solenoid or cold advance isnt working

(If you find out what the problem is let me know what you had to do to fix it and the results).

How many miles do you have on your truck? Second, does the injectors have gray colored paint on them? If so they are the orginal injectors... Injector pump and injectors need to be changed out between 125,000 and 150,000 miles.

Check to see if you are getting any fuel to the injectors by, cracking a coiple of injector lines open and crank the engine over a couple of times. The injectors will require atleast 1850 psi to pop open. Sounds like the injector pump has worn pass its limits internally.

What about the fuel pump? It's located on the bottom of the engine straight down from the fuel filter. Do those tend to go bad?
