These are the new twins 366/587
The SC allows this truck to be daily driven without smoke or EGT issues normally associated with big turbo(s). The turbos respond as if the engine was larger. this particular set lights in the 2200 rpm range. it lights near 2700 without the blower.

The two systems are parallel, not in series, correct? Otherwise, what;s the point of the scoop on the blower?

Actually its kind of both.
The blower pulls air through the scoop and feeds the primary, which feeds the secondary.
When the turbos are lit, they pull extra air through the cone filter on the primary.
