FASS Location Question.
Where are you guys/gals mounting the FASS system?
I should have mine this week (Thanks to Lukesdiesel), and I was looking for your input as to where to mount it...

The instructions will have you mounting it under the front driver's corner of the bed...
I know I have read of guys mounting them in other places, in the bed is one that comes to mind.

Thanks for the reply. I'll probably keep it out of the bed due to running a cover most of the year. I'm trying to figure out whether closer to the tank or closer to the engine is better. This would only make a difference, if the pump pulled better than pushed, or pushed better than pulled.
Does it even matter?

As it is intended to be a pusher pump you want it as close to and as low to the tank as possible to gain the correct hydrology head on the line. Move the pump above the tank and under the hood for example and it won't act much better than the OEM version.
It is almost impossible but ideally you want the pump 100% below the tank and in line with the injection pump.

Correct. The design ideal location of the pump is not real life applicable. Mounting it high on the frame rail will result in no drop but not 100% efficiency is all. Only about 97% where OEM is closer to 60%.
