I would get the 6.7 because of the 6sp auto & the exhaust brake. Personally I would rather deal with some of the emissions stuff then deal with a trans.

no way there is to much of a power decrease from the 5.9L to the 6.7L. who cares about the exhaust brake you can buy one for $400 and it aint hard to put on

All it took for me was a test drive of an 08 6.7, and now I have one on order.

My 06 I would consider to be one of the better ones, gets great mileage and has lots of power. But, the 6.7 feels pretty awesome for a stock truck.

I'm hoping to get a little extra $ for my 06 riding the fear of the emissions laden 6.7.

350hp/650tq is a power decrease?

Also they don't recommend running a exhaust brake on the stock auto trans for the 5.9's. Banks & BD have a extra controller that you need to prevent you from burning the trans. I've seen 5.9's loose a trans with less then 50,000 miles on them.

Hmmm...many who have said go with the 5.9L have been based on conjecture. Any specific facts that one is better or worse than the other? I've driven both and feel 6.7L is a little smoother...could be because of the 6 speed transmission (awesome).
