Default What to be aware of on dodges

I going with a friend to look at a cummins for him, he doesn't know much about diesels, I do but more on the powerstroke side. All I know is it's a 01 ext. Cab auto with long bed and 200,000 miles and the guys asking 11,000. Is that seem about right on price? What should I look for as common problems?

Thanks

Yep, ask how old they both are, and where the lift pump is. Intank, or block mounted.

Check for a 53 block:

Front end seems to be the only huge problem I've really heard alot about with friends trucks. Buddy of mine had a problem with the overdrive unit in his 01 but he thought the stock tranny aand wheel bearings would survive on 35s too . I'd offer less and see what he says, don't insult him just look for a little better deal

How's the exterior and interior?

11 grand is a tad too much, especially when it books for 9 (assuming it's in great condition).
