Default How bad was your day?

there is nothing left to slavage from this turbo other than the exhaust elbow. this was at like 0-2lbs of boost cruising. there is still a big Brass Grimlen running around somewhere in the depths of the engine

This wasn't today, but not too long ago. Visions Electronics installed a remote starter in my truck. Apparently they had no idea what they were doing, and they think fuses are over rated. This is my Edge that was wrecked by them.

Not that bad, but bad enough. Trying to get my 92 out of hibernation. Quit on me 7 times on the road. Had to bleed the injectors each time until they stayed clear.

learned that power steering pumps need to be in good working order when you wheel a top heavy jeep.

complete rebuild

the oil supply line that goes from block to vacuum pump, dodge no longer sells it, cummins upgraded there's, so the fitting dint work, had to fab new connectors so that I could get new line to work.

tried to start one day, nothing, checked everything that I could think of, went and bought new starter, still nothing, replaced the ground wire, fired right up, cost me 400.00 for that one.

had fuel pump rebuilt with some extras, received the pump put it on while engine was out, times everything put back in truck, tried to start nothing, after about 4 days of trying to start and replacing battery 300.00 and buying a charger with start help 299.00, i decided to buy another pump and put it on, had to drain water take off everything in the fron again, put newpump on and reassemble, new pump 800.00, had to replace the front seal because I WAS NOT IN SUCH A GOOD MOOD, I pulled the front gear cover off a littel to hard.

finally get everything going, get the truck to my house, it cuts off a mile before I get there, the fusable links burned

when I get home I notice that when we were putting the hood back on, it bent the hinges, so my hood does not fit correctlly.

just the other week , I was driving her around, had to take a turn in my little town very short because there was another persone who was passed the REALLY BIG WHITE LINE and I hit the curb (I have a dually) no big deal, didnt hit it that hard, was actually like a crawl over it, get home, the tire has a slash in it.

wife wants to get rid of the truck or me now ()
