Default 1990 international with cummins

i wasn't sure where to put this.

at work we have a 1990 cab over international with a cummins.
i'm trying to figure out what to do with it so we can get as much money as possible out of it.

my boss, is pretty much letting me do what i want with it.
it needs alot to be put back on the road, some one quoted me around 6G's to see the road again. we really don't have a use for it.

we are thinking about selling it to the junk yard. it weighs 2100 lbs, tandem axle.
the junk yard quoted us about $2100 bucks is we had a wrecker drop it off

truck $2100
wrecker charge, $400
minus $25 each for tires 6 tires $150

that would bring us $1550
---------------------------------------------------------------------
next option is sell it to some one for parts
how do i find out what model the engine is?
the cab doesn't seem to jack up, it did last week. i think maybe there is ice in the lines so we can't get it jacked up again to check out the engine.

give me some idea's an your opinions..
i would really like to get 3 grand out of this.
seems like a good running cummins engine should be woth that?

i'll try to get some pic up, might help to so people can see what i'm dealing with.

I'd think it would weigh more than 2100 LBS

The flat bed alone should be worth most of the asking price if someone needs it.JMORocky

there's no way that weighs 2100 did you mean 21000

---AutoMerged DoublePost---

I wouldn't think 21000 either, I'd guess it weighs 14,000 to 18,000 but thats just a guess

Ok thats more like it in the 1st post it says 2100, I'd post it for a while before selling it for scrap. I'm sure there are farmers who would be glad to have it.

yeah, the problem there is i live on the coat. we used the truck to haul lobster bait on.

all the farmers are up north, probably the wrecker fee would kill them.
