Whats up with all the about dpfs Everbody tellin me dnt straight pipe your truck it wnt pass inspection. Just curious why the hell did they start puttin the egr and dpfs on trucks cause i know they changed that when they started makin the 6.7s

Its stupid cause if you got an 08+ they want u to keep it but everybody that got 5.9s dnt have to have on em

Dodge did it to beat the 2010 emissions standards the EPA had set for the light/heavy duty diesel industry. 2010 was the deadline, but Dodge hurried the 6.7 out the door.
