Default Wood hauling with a smokestack

I have a seven inch stack in my bed on my 94 cummins and was wondering if its unsafe to haul wood with it. I know it gets hot but not that bad it seems. If anyone has already done it let me know. i was thinking of stacking wood around/on it because its thick enough that it wont bend.

I wouldn't advise it man. Get a utility trailer, if you have to I would leave as much space between the wood and the stack as possible

How hot you think it gets, put a couple of pices of logs around here and see if the wood burns. The stacks on my tractors get worm but not hot. I dont run a stack I like the look but take up room in the bed and its not worth doin. Practicality not looks.

i wouldnt really worry about it. If nothing else, get some bendable pipe or metal and act as a sheild around the stack.

i doubt the stack would be that hot. Just put something around it so ya dont scratch it.

I have seen it done plenty of times without any wood catching on fire... I would personally be more worries about the stacks getting scratched!
