One of them IBF boys will take you up on this and they're fairly close.
The cab and chasis are narrower and the dually's are a total of 4" wider. The duals both just slide onto the studs then you put your nuts on. Just like a single wheel except you have two wheels butted together.

the rear ends are shorter in a dually than a 3/4 ton I always thought that they were the same.Who's got a tape measure and a dually and single wheel I would like to see the measurements.

In a dual wheel cab and chasis they are shorter. A true dually pickup they are 4" wider. A dually whith single wheels on the rear will have the tires stick out 2" on each side.
