Down unless need em. These are the crappiest mirrors and vibrate and shake when up when driving on the interstate. Jus don't look right when unloaded with em up either.

Its not as much the flipping down its Havin to manually adjust the glass. Wich is a pain when today I might hook to a trailer then might un hook then re hook that night

the ones in my 05 were power, didnt have that issue, still, there are so many retards that run with them up all the time, it doesn't take more than 2 minutes to fix the mirrors even if they are manual, I hate excuses for laziness

as for the chevy jealousy comment, my tow mirrors slide out, no flipping required, and they are all power so I can change them from the comfort of my captains chair

Yes I will agree there are a lot of people that have no business running with them up all the time but mine do not stay up for looks they stay up because there is really no need to put them down. Also I don't see it as laziness I see it as being practical.

I don't tow alot, but i keep em up cause you can see so much better with them up, and its an added benefit that they look good also.

I'm agreeing wih some guys on here, my manual mirrors are a pain to re-adjust. I ride with them up because I work with them alot and the length really helps when watching them little cars driving beside me.

i don't have them but when i get them they will stay up... and i have power mirrors... what is the honest ''purpose'' for folding them down??? other than driver preference i cant find any... and no driver preference will be the same.. but i say always up... cause i tow a lot..

---AutoMerged DoublePost---

but my dads truck has 280,000 miles towing and have never been flipped up but he's use to the older style ford mirrors and cant get used to the dodge mirrors when ''up''
