Default Differences in the motors?

Ok ya'll I have a question. What exactly, if any, is the difference in a 24v head and a cr head. I know they are both 24v and have transfer tubes to deliver the fuel. What I'm wondering is is how much the injectors are different. Also are the fuel return lines the same? I'm not to worried about the front timing cover or anything as I'll be switching it out to run a p-pump. I realize the electronics are there in a cr but I can work around that to. Basically I'm wondering If I can run 24v mechanical injectors in a CR. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.
