Ok so I'm looking to buy my friends 2003 Dodge 2500 Crew Cab 4wd Laramie with 148,xxx. He doesn't drive it any more because of diesel prices and wants to pay off his loan and get a house so he is selling it.

He has a few mods done to it which are:
Transmission Rebuild by Performance Innovations with new Trq Converter 3200$
Bully Dog Tuner with digital gauges 700$
Raptor Air Dog 150 Fuel Pump 370$
Farm Boys 5" exhaust with 4" turbo back 370$
AFE stg2 intake 4-500$
Leveling kit 150$
New steering box 200$
New Upper Ball Joints 90$ x2
35" Nitto Trail Grapplers on 3rd Gen Alloys (Tires almost new) 1300$
AC doors replaced with metal doors

Price are what i looked up on xtreme diesel and other places, all just estimates.

This guy takes car of his truck, its not beat up at all very clean outside and in. I was just wonder if it was a good deal. He wants 18,000$ for the truck.

-Transmission built by Performance Innovations with full factory rebuild, extra clutchs in each pack, upgraded valve body and billet triple disc converter. amsoil syn. fluid.
-Bully Dog Tuner with ditial gauge display w/egt probe
-A/C doors replaced with Heater Treater steel doors (heatertreater.com)
-Afe Stage 2 intake system
-New 35x12.50x17 nitto trail grapplers
-New set of dodge 3rd gen alloy wheels
-New front and rear brakes within the last 10,000 miles
-New front wheel bearing with abs sensors
-New ps pump
-New tensioner
-New drive belt
-block heater
-amsoil fluid in differentials and engine with amsoil filter
-towing controller
-5 inch exhuast with 6 inch tip with muffler.


only problem with truck is the cracked dash piece that covers the front speakers damaged when removing the dash for replacment of a/c doors. Also has few small dents in tail gate.

kelly blue book of this truck is 17,120
it has over 5,000 dollars in parts in the last year.
asking 18,000 dollars firm (if you dont have a loan set up or dont have the cash dont waste my time)

Test drives will only be done in no-power valet mode unless i am driving (no joy rides)

seems a little steep for an 03. awesome truck- i love mine, but see if he'll take 16k for it. the 03 doesnt have the same diagnostics due to computer limitations, but it has a stronger block than the later models. start it, drive it, and if it makes you grin, buy it.

 

pretty much any diesel make me grin

been looking for 6 months but he really takes care of it. he bought it around 15k ago and did all the mods since then. all stock before that
